While the majority of these 10p stamps were printed by Enschede there would still be a need for additional small orders of stamps to be printed. Enschede was not a company to entertain a call for ‘10 sheets please, by Thursday if possible’. The fallback was more of the A4 sheets being perforated by the Discworld Emporium. However, booking time at the Bath museum and the travel time was inconvenient. Add to this that the stamps were proving to be popular enough for additional items to be considered, and the purchase of a perforator was a good business move. This was introduced and a third variety of the 10p Morporkias appeared in LBEs, this time with perforations spaced at 10 per 2 cm.
Like the Bath perforated stamps these would only be found in LBEs and the sheets would not be available for sale. For the record, a small number of these would be found in the Out with the Old LBEs in 2009, when a clearout of old material served as excellent LBE fillers for collectors. But again, compared to the numbers of Enschede printings, these stamps appeared in small numbers.
