Even in these early days of Discworld Stamps careful consideration must have been given, not only to the design, but also to what colours the final stamp should be. Here is the earliest example I have seen for any colour trials - all in a purple theme, but sufficiently different. The colouration of the ‘original design’ is the most different of the lot.
