Other Examples

The following are examples of the output of The Faith Press that are known of, but not represented in my collection. There seems to be at least three series of albums, which may be consecutive, but equally may overlap their issue dates. It seems logical that the Childermote and Eldermote albums are targeted at younger and older children respectively; in these (now) far off days it seems that it was quite normal for younger people to attend Sunday School up to the age of 16, and perhaps even older. Is the family Sunday service a more modern concept?

Childermote Album

Note that the stamps have been canceled like stamps on a letter. This has not been noticed on any other album. The cancelation states St Peters Church, Ballarat, with the date. Ballarat is in Victoria, Australia.

First Colour Stamp Album

I was a bit disappointed to be outbid on this item in auction, though I have to say that as it was not complete of stamps and I had reached my limit.

A secod example with the same cover design, but seemingly a thinner un-bossed card cover

Sunday Stamp Album

The single stamp on the first page is a fund raising stamp honouring 16 year old Jack Cornwell Ward VC who died as a result of his injuries sustained in the Battle of Jutland. This is just contemporary with this album.

Unknown dates

These two albums had been advertised for sale, said to be Sunday Stamp Albums from The Faith Press.
There were no dates mentioned, nor any cover photographs. Despite these descriptions I have doubts.
The first has a page design and stamp dimensions and style which are more in keeping with Home Words albums.
The second however is closer in appearance to the 1915 album.
