Big Cabbage exists solely due to cabbages and their trading and entertainment. Like the USA has towns which has tourist lures such as the world`s biggest ball of rubber bands, so Big Cabbage has Discworld’s biggest cabbage. It is made of concrete and 100 feet high high. It sits within Brassica World Amusement Park.
Big Cabbage does not have mush of a philatelic history. A freepost stamp, presumably for post cards home, was a free gift in Stanley Howler Stamp Journal #12. A halfpenny stamp, with a red cabbage sport, was issued in the Year of the Backward Facing Artichoke. And a Penny stamp was used as a revenue stamp on a Quaretined Movements form as part of the Wormherder series available from the GCTS scheme.
