Released to mark the publication of 'Going Postal' in paperback. And just as described in the book. This is one of the letters Moist Von Lipwig took back to Ankh-Morpork, complete with the exclusive Patrician 2p Red stamp. The out-going mail was only 10p, but Moist quickly added one penny to the postage for the return delivery

The 2p Red Patrician was supposed to be limited to 2500 only, all used on 500 of these special cover only available to Stanley Howler Stamp Journal #4 subscribers. Despite this however, some individual Red Patrician 2p stamps did find their way into general circulation, notably in some of the Dragon Sanctuary covers. There does not seem to be a sport for these stamps.

Inside the envelope, the letter contained a letter to Simliomos from Joe Parasol (a silk trader) , a Klatchian bill of sale and a bill of loading.
