The collecting interest for this issue lies within the fact that it was reprinted with the stamp image slightly reduced in size. The actual stamp remains the same size, but the borders are larger. I believe that this was because with an A4 sized sheet with an 8 by 11 arrangement of stamps with a narrow border too may sheets were being rejected for faulty perforating. Each sheet needed all 21 perforations to be spot on. The reprint also looks a brighter, crisper colour, though some of this can be put down to scanning and image handling differences.
This design was not the only one considered for the Sto Lat one penny. The stamps may have used the same bust image of Queen Keli, but replacing Vetinari on a Penny Patrician background. Various colours were possible, Apologies, but the below images are currently the best I have.

Other shades and colours were considered for the chosen design on a sheet with double size stamps images.
