At its release this was unarguably the most technologically advanced stamp in terms of printing. Perhaps more advanced than Teemer & Spools, or indeed any other printers in Ankh-Morpork. In addition to the CYMB four colours (cyan, yellow, magenta and black) there is a varnish and an additional chrome silver layer on top. Unfortunately all this does not show well on neither my scans nor photographs.

The print quality is of much higher resolution than normal; click the stamp image above to see how much fine detail is preserved. There was no sport on the sheet, but collectors have noticed some consistent very minor faults on stamps that could identify where on a sheet a single stamp came from.
