The Welsh Philatelic Oddities series started in August 2009 and there were 5 distributions by the end of the year. These were stamps and some postal history items from a long forgotten quarry tramway post, stamps from a land thought to have been completely lost to the sea but surviving as a rocky islet, a ferry boat post on the borders of Wales, some items associated with the legend of a crashed UFO and some labels produced by a spurned and heart broken lover.
