Yet another surprise for collectors, and without any full issue surrounding it, came stamps used on Christmas card mailings. The recipe for a hasty cover decoration is to take some spare stamps, get out a red pen, some tippex, and a dollop of Ho! Ho! Ho! and you have the 2012 festive stamp.

As each of these was hand done, every stamp will be different. The bobble hat may be upright, or floppy, the head may have a red nose and antlers. Priceless!
