This grouping is by default a sort of bucket category where stamp issues not classifiable elsewhere are grouped together for ease of browsing. But this is not because they are of less worth. There are some absolute classics in here. They are mainly solo outings by Colin Edwards, therefore tend to be design exercises like the Penny Jacks, or simply a bit of fun like the Corsican School of Dance. You will find full blown issues like the Penny Blanks with covers, certificates and numerous intentional varieties, down to envelope decorations like Xmas 2012. Then there are those that are more enigmatic, like the £6175 issue.

Of course we can hope that there will be follow ups to some of these. There have been hints at another offering from the Institute of Designers, Engravers & Artists. When this happens those issues will be promoted to their own folder. I wonder if the Guild had a surreptitious involvement with the Penny Jacks, or even the Penny Blacks
