Albert is DEATH’s chef ‘of sorts’ and housekeeper. He is also Alberto Malich, founder of the Unseen University. On being close to death he ironically made his way to DEATH’s domain to delay the inevitable, as time stands still there. He had too many enemies waiting for him beyond the sands. The statue to him at the Unseen University features on the 1¼p Unseen University stamp issued in the year of the Justifiably Defensive Lobster. The statue is complete with both pigeon and chamber pot, though the latter is missing on the sheet sport. This stamp, along with the other two values of the set, have a thaumic colour shift rendering each stamp on the sheet slightly different to all the others.

Personally I am rather pleased to see that the statue bears little resemblance to David Jason.
