Covers

The 10 pence stamps were accompanied by a First Day Cover. Central is the artwork used for the perforated pair of proof sheets, without the dwarfs or trolls chasing each other. and there are a pair of stamps, separated and place either side before getting a Wincanton cancellation. The slip inside informs us that this issue coincided with the release of Thud! and supplies the design credits.

An alternative FDC was had a Royal Mail stamp and cancellation, requiring the Koom Valley to remain as a pair. And there was also a Consulate official correspondence cover, with both a consulate frank and a KV field post franking.
