The marginal text of the sheet includes two of their mottoes - Not One drop and Live Not In Vein. Their ranks include Otto Criek, iconographer, for Ankh-Morpork Times, Lady Margolotta who has a sort of relationship with Lord Vetanri, and Sally von Humpeding the only vampire to have joined The Watch.

The stamps were printed in an unusual arrangement, alternately right way up and upside down - what is called in philatelic circ;es as tete-beche. The sport suggests a lapse by a league member.
