Welsh Antarctic Daipendency special issues

   There have been few special issues, but those that have appeared commemorate ground-breaking events in this small community, such as the Millenium celebration, Harpooning, Flora and a special issue for the holder of the Penguin Counting World Record.Its worth noting that due to the remoteness of the Daipendency and erratic communications the new issues are heralded with a First Month Cover.

There was dubious issue consisting of definitives with overprints declaring independence. The letters D.U.A. stood for “Datganiad Anochrog o Annibyniaeth”. The culprits were caught and got a stern telling off. But not before a warship had set off to put down the supposed insurrection.
