The people of Ankh-Morpork have a panoply of God to choose from, and they will follow those who promise the most for their worshippers. This is a rwo-way process because on Discworld the power and status of a God is based on the number of true believers. This is highlighted in Small Gods where Om is manifest as a rather powerless small tortoise; he has only one notable believer, Brother Brutha, while the clergy merely rule Omnia in his name. Consequently there are a number of stamps and postal ephemera that could form a comprehensive thematic collection - and not just originating from Ankh-Morpork, but from across the Discworld.
