What and where is the Land of Mμ?

The Land of Mμ is a stress free place where you can live or visit at will. It is not to be confused with Mu, the lost continent of Lemuria. Mμ is anything but lost. It is a land of soaring Hoopoes and friendly Hippos - or should I say Hμpμs and Hγppos. Nobody here is unsocial or antisocial. Within that you are free to do what you like. There are no laws or rules, although some things and activities may be frowned upon. What these are is decided by debate and consensus among anyone interested. And generally once certified ‘frowned on’ you don’t come across it again - think kilts!.

Where is the Land of Mμ? Nowhere and everywhere. If you are reading this you are probably already halfway on your journey. There are no directions to give. But whatever you like, the Land of Mμ will have something for you when you arrive. There are low rolling hills and tall mountains, woods and forests, lakes and rivers, and even a desert. The main town, called Mμ, is a port on the coast where nearby golden sands are perfect for those who wish to soak up the sun are cooled by a light sea breeze. Or watch Mμ go by sitting in the shade at one of the many bars along the harbour front. Mμ is not the best place for those who just want to ‘veg out’. Yes, relax by all means, but no time-wasting in Mμ. Think constructive thoughts and ideas.

Mμ’s climate is just right. Autumn lasts through November and December, with spring springing up from January to March. First summer is April to July and second summer August to October. Does it rain in Mμ? Of course it does, otherwise the magnificent gardens and landscape would wither. But it only rains at night, when you are fast asleep. Does it snow in Mμ? No. There are no winters, and it never gets that cold. Some people like a winterlandscape, but the advantages of not having to don stifling layers of clothing, or not having to slither through dirty slush when that snow thaws, outweighs the beauty of the snow. But you don’t have to go far for the white stuff. Pop over to Straddle during their winter if that is what relaxes you most.
